What we’re looking for

SurveyMonkey is seeking a passionate Paid Marketing Media Planner and Strategist to help spearhead dynamic paid media strategies across channels such as Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic. You enjoy coming up with innovative new ideas, testing and launching them, and diving into data and metrics to uncover insights and learnings. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on marketing objectives. 

What you’ll be working on

  • Develop, plan, and work with channel leads to execute paid media strategies across various channels, including Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic.
  • Analyze marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and provide insights on recommended optimizations.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Product Marketing, Marketing Analytics, and more to define marketing objectives and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify target audiences and determine the most effective media mix. 
  • Manage and allocate budgets for paid media campaigns, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and media planning.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 5+ years experience in paid media planning and strategy or a related role, SaaS experience (either in house or marketing agency) strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing and its impact across all marketing channels
  • Proven experience in developing and executing media plans for paid marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking; you get excited diving into data and finding the story to tell
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and platforms
  • Creative thinking with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies
