The Opportunity

“We are seeking an Oracle EBS Business Analyst with extensive functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Applications and a solid technical foundation in Oracle’s database structures, including the ability to write basic SQL queries. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business users to deliver support and enhance business processes through our systems. Additionally, you will work alongside the IT team to build cross-functional capabilities. Functional knowledge of Oracle Service Contracts, the Order to Cash process and other Oracle EBS financial modules is ideal.  Our aim is to offer world-class, enterprise-level solutions to our internal customers, reflecting the same excellence that FICO provides to its external clients.” - Hiring Manager

What You’ll Contribute

  • Provide day-to-day support and incident resolution for business users using Oracle EBS Applications mostly related to Service Contracts, Order Management and Oracle Financial Modules.

  • Partner closely with business users to understand key business functions and, where possible, offer solutions leveraging standard Oracle functionality

  • Participate in monthly meetings to walk through business and system challenges and facilitate improvements.

  • Define, document, and implement system configuration changes in business systems.

  • Design innovative and practical solutions to challenges that cannot be tackled using standard Oracle functionality. 

  • Write functional specifications and work closely with application development to create and test customized solutions.

  • Collaborate with peers to build cross-functional capabilities and ensure success on large scale projects.

  • Support integrations with other 3rd party software solutions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Seeking

  • Experience in Oracle EBS Applications with deep functional knowledge in AR, OM, Service Contracts, GL, AP, FA, ebTax, Purchasing and/or Projects.

  • Technical/query-capable familiarity with the tables underlying the Oracle EBS Applications

  • Experience in designing and documenting custom functional solutions for Finance business challenges

  • Experience in creating basic SQL select statements

  • Ability to partner with business and technical resources and act as the liaison between those groups, often advocating for your business partners

  • Ability and desire to approach challenges creatively and willingness to explore and learn new tools and capabilities
