ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for delivery of high quality, timely and accurate maintenance of data across a variety of systems, procedures and datasets, plus manage the creation and maintenance of core Data Record Operations reporting, to ensure the success of global end-to-end processes.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Manage the creation and maintenance of all Data Record Operations reporting and management intelligence materials
  2. Engage with the Data Record Operations team to identify actions from KPI and SLA reporting, then track the progress/impact of actions against future KPI and SLA measurement
  3. Assist with the administration of reporting data, processes and system(s) to ensure we provide comprehensive metrics to stakeholders
  4. Co-ordinate, update and maintain product and/or party data with focus on creating and maintained high quality, timely and accurate data records to support core business processes
  5. Work across multiple OUP systems, including Oxford Publish, SAP, STAR, Filemaker, Stibo and CoreSource to monitor, create and update data to a high level of quality and pre-set standards
  6. Engage with data users to ensure timely and accurate supply of required metadata, ensuring that internal standards are adhered to at all times, to support downstream process and business requirements
  7. Prioritize workload effectively to ensure tasks are completed in a sensible order and that every possible effort is made to adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  8. Recommend and implement procedure changes which encourage efficiencies, simplify our work and improve or standardize overall processes
  9. Create and maintain accurate group documentation, including instruction manuals and training materials

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrable experience of creating and updating reports and management intelligence information
  • Proven experience working with databases and data and/or qualifications in a related field
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, demonstrated within a fast-paced environment, with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Good organizational skills, an ability to manage time well in a busy environment and work as part of a team
  • Highly detail orientated individual with an aptitude for learning complex procedures and systems quickly, then repeating them accurately from memory
  • Proactive attitude, with an ability to work unsupervised for the majority of time
  • Intermediate IT skills, including Word, Excel, and ideally experience working with a database (such as S4 or SAP)
  • Ability to communicate technical information to potentially non-technical audiences
  • Excellent document creation skills, including the development of process documentation to high levels of detail and accuracy
  • Confidence to challenge or question data accuracy, integrity and quality with stakeholders and ensure we manage data to an exceptionally high level
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Understands the impact good/bad data quality can have across systems and processes

This is a 3 month, part time contract

Position Location: This role can be hybrid, based out of Cary, NC (2 times a week in office).

GJC Level: S3 (for internal purposes only) 

Salary: $35,000-$50,000 dependent on skills and experience
