Your missions

This is a VP Technical Accounting position with an established financial services business. The role is perfectly suited for specialists with strong technical IFRS knowledge, capable to handle large volumes of new acquisitions integration, ensuring accounting policy adherence.

This London based VP Technical accounting position is with a leading financial services firm.

Description

The responsibilities of the successful candidate for this VP Technical Accounting position will include working on:

Revenue recognition;
Hedge accounting/ financial instruments;
Share-based payments;
Lease accounting;
Acquisitions/disposals accounting
Goodwill impairment;
Transitioning subsidiaries from FRS 102 to FRS 101;
Financial statements review;
Group accounting policy manual; and
Numerous other complex accounting matters.

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following background:

ACA fully qualified (ideally Big 4), having ideally gained experience with the firm's technical accounting division
Significant post-qualification experience working in a technical accounting capacity
IFRS technical accounting/accounting policy experience.
Ability to write well, and strong communication skills generally.
