Your missions

Our Mission

We're not your average benefits platform; we're the unordinary force that uplifts people's lives. Our technology is the link that connects the entire benefits ecosystem, creating better outcomes for employers, employees, brokers, and providers.

Our mission is clear: we're here to create a world where everything operates at its very best, ensuring that every employee receives the support they need to live life to the fullest, both at work and beyond.

Your Mission

As a Solutions Executive at Ben, you will be a customer experience evangelist, working to understand customer requirements, configuring the platform to suit their needs and have a real desire to provide the best possible onboarding experience!

We’re looking for self-starters who are seeking a fast-paced environment where they can make a difference. Our team is small, which means high autonomy, ownership, and responsibility. We love what we do, have fun and, while we ship on time, take life-work balance seriously.

Things you will be working on…
  • Project managing and actioning the collection of benefit information from customers and third parties, including benefit providers and brokers.

  • Utilising benefit and Ben platform knowledge to support senior solutions executives in providing a seamless onboarding experience to our customers by populating key benefit onboarding documentation and supporting client facing workshops

  • Configuring Ben’s platform to meet customer requirements including benefit and allowance rules such as eligibility, contributions, enrolment windows, pricing and more

  • Preparing customer data to import into the Ben platform

  • Leading client facing workshops and online sessions to collect information on their benefit renewals throughout the year

  • Update benefits following renewal and adding new ones when required

  • Work closely with customer and internal stakeholders (Product, Implementation Managers and Operations) examining both existing and new workflows, and product features to identify business problems and create effective solutions

You will love this role if you have…
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - you will be a point of contact internally and with customers collecting and sharing benefits information

  • Great organisational and project management skills - you will manage multiple tasks across different projects and so being able to prioritise and organise your work is essential

  • Strong attention to detail

  • A basic understanding of numerical concepts e.g. order of mathematical operations (BODMAS)

  • Tech savvy and a interest to learn the technical side of solutions e.g. API integration and SAML authentications

  • A basic understanding of information security and how to apply it to sensitive information and customer data

  • Able to think on your feet and solve problems

Nice to have:

  • Benefits knowledge (terminology etc)

  • Good knowledge of Google Sheets/Excel

  • Knowledge of database tools e.g. airtable

and you...

  • are a self-starter who thrives on autonomy, enjoys a rapid pace and wants to make a difference

  • have a continuous improvement mindset. You appreciate that there are always ways to do things better and ensure your team does too

  • have a preference for action-oriented behaviour with just enough analysis, as compared to too much time spent doing analysis with no action

  • have the ability to make decisions balancing different factors such as business requirements, technical integrity, overall priorities etc.

  • focus on outcomes over processes and optimise for the highest impact and leverage

  • appreciate the opportunities and challenges of a distributed work environment

  • are solution-focused with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving

  • are collaborative, able to work across teams and capitalise on the diversity of perspectives and experiences

Diversity and Culture at Ben

Our culture is ever-evolving and is defined by our people. We don’t hire clones, we hire individuals.

  • We celebrate diversity

  • We listen to our people

  • We work autonomously
    and...

  • We have fun!

We are organically growing a brilliantly diverse, inclusive and respectful bunch of people we are extremely proud of. This should go without saying but all applications are very much welcome.  If you need any adjustments to support you with your application, just let us know by emailing jobs@thanksben.com.
