Events & Brand Experiences Manager

Remote 

Reporting to the Head of Marketing - Americas, Lotus Cars has an exciting opportunity for a proactive and passionate Manager, Events and Brand Experiences with experience in planning and managing events within the luxury automotive industry. This person will work closely with the Head of Marketing, regional teams, and the dealer network to deliver strategic, high-quality Lotus brand experiences and will ensure they are delivered effectively and seamlessly across an annual calendar of national events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management of Events and Brand Experiences from planning to on-site operations and delivery against objectives
  • Key point of contact with internal/external stakeholders before, during, and after all events.
  • Create best practices and efficiencies to deliver against objectives, on budget and on brand while ensuring customer and guest experience is world-class.
  • Writing briefs for each event to ensure objectives, requirements, timeline, budget, and all other details are clearly defined at the onset of each event.
  • Support Engineering for marketing fleet of vehicles, coordinating with appropriate teams on vehicle requirements, movements, technical support, and details from load in to load out.
  • Responsible for ensuring adherence to brand standards, guidelines, and positioning.
  • Source and oversee agencies, vendors, and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and maintaining and building relationships and regularly communicating up/down.
  • Proactively seek out ways to optimize and amplify activities to support overall marketing objectives including brand awareness, product marketing, lead generation and customer loyalty
  • Conduct market research on consumers, trends, competitors, and other necessary analysis to provide best-in-class brand events and experiences to Lotus customers.
  • Liaise with CRM team to ensure data captures are managed in the funnel properly.
  • Extensive travel to include site visits, agency/vendor/supplier meetings and event support required, up to 50% national travel, potential international travel.
  • Responsible for creating advertising campaigns, pricing, strategies and targeting demographic audiences.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have prior Event Management experience to be considered.
  • 5+ years in Event Management
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in Luxury segment, preferably in automotive or motorsports sector
  • Budget Management and Negotiation Skills
  • Supplier Management and Relationship Building Skills
  • Ability to manage and work with a variety of personalities, cultures, and teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Willing to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends where required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with graphic software and/or creative design.
  • Experience in advertising/media to complement event marketing activities.
  • Experience in start-up or agency environment
