Position Summary

J. J. Keller's Environmental Consulting team is looking to add a Contract Consultant who will assist clients at OSHA and EPA regulated facilities with managing, coordinating, and implementing all fourteen (14) elements of the Process Safety Management (PSM) standard and the additional requirements of the EPA’s Risk Management Plan (RMP) to verify and ensure regulatory compliance.

The candidate will work individually and as part of the EHS Consulting team, and will provide clients with PSM and RMP support.

  • Conduct PSM and RMP compliance audits.
  • Facilitate Process Hazard Analysis (PHA).
  • Proficient in reading and understanding Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Participate in PSM incident investigations as requested by clients, including root cause failure analysis.
  • Excellent communicating skills, both verbal and written, as well as a professional and courteous attitude.
  • Ability to travel to client facilities.

 As an Independent Contractor with J. J. Keller, candidates MUST have other clients, as J. J. Keller cannot make up 50% or more of your total annual revenue.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Periodic travel to customer sites and/or industry and training events may be required based on assignment.
