Your missions

Data Catalog Consultant ( Data Domain Taxonomy/Data Governance) 
(Remote)
W2/Full Time Candidates Only
  • Having a strong background in data management, with a focus on developing and maintaining data domain taxonomies
  • Responsible for defining, organizing, and categorizing data elements in wealth/asset management domain
  • identifying relevant domain specific business terms, and adding them to a data governance platform, Collibra
  • should possess strong Data analysis as well as business analysis skills
  • Experience in Asset Management domain / Investment banking and/or any financial data product related to asset management is a must
Job Role & Responsibilities:-
  •  Identify and categorize the type of financial assets / products based on reference data
  •  Gather reference data information on parties, financial institutions, counterparties, etc. involved in any particular trade
  •  Categorize similar types of deals / trades with similar reference data to ensure standardization
  •  Identify gaps in data and information within and across organizational domains Map and catalog sector, cluster and domain data and information assets
  • Experience in Asset Management domain / Investment banking and/or any financial data product related to asset management is a must
  • Analyze, interpret, collate, and transform Reference data provided in a variety of format
  • Make sound, subjective decisions when interpreting information by utilizing subject matter expertise to infer, deduce and ultimately draw the right conclusions
  • Provide customer support for users of data products by resolving inquiries in a timely manner
  • Use UML & SQL / Programming language to analyze and interpret different data set
  • Writing BRDs as and when needed
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle is preferred
  • Experience working on Data Product technology / business programs is highly advantageous
  • Apply problem-solving skills to identify innovative work-flow efficiencies and process improvements resulting in increased accuracy levels, time to market and productivity
  • Help identify trends and causation of inaccurate and/or incomplete dat
  •  Participate in ad hoc projects to optimize processes and/or improve the quality of the data set
  • Create charts, graphs, and presentations for leadership teams

Knowledge &; Experience-
 
  1.  Advanced SQL/Macro/Advanced Excel knowledge is preferred and would be added advantage
  2. Proven experience in data analysis and prescriptive modelling
  3. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms
  4. Strong knowledge and understanding of the financial markets
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  6.  Must possess the ability to influence others Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and attention to detail
