What You Will Do:

  • Support Cloud development pipelines using Jenkins, Cloud Formation, Puppet, and other tools as appropriate.

  • Support containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, other technologies

  • Script and automate system tasks to reduce manual repetitive work using Terraform, Puppet, Groovy, shell script and other technologies as appropriate and apply knowledge of AWS and Infrastructure-as-code tools to automate repetitive tasks

  • Experience supporting Java applications on Tomcat, and .NET

  • Participate in production software deployments working closely with other members of the production support group to ensure the proper transition of system changes into the production environments.

  • Perform general technical trouble shooting & give consultation to development teams

  • Report issues to management & work to identify the root cause of system-related issues

  • Apply knowledge of AWS and Infrastructure-as-code tools to automate repetitive tasks

  • Be an advocate and resource for DevOps principles and methodology.

  • Using best practices & industry standards, develop solid & maintainable scripting & infrastructure tooling

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree is required

  • Minimum FOUR (4) years of job-related experience deploying, maintaining, and managing AWS Cloud infrastructures, CI/CD, Build, and Release.

  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Terraform.

  • Should be able to write scripts on shell/Groovy scripting and create CI/CD Jenkin jobs and experienced with troubleshooting and debugging CI/CD pipeline failures.

  • Should be expertise in Microservices deployment and troubleshooting on different platforms.

  • Experience in Build & Deployment using ANT, and MAVEN as build tools and deploy artifacts to NEXUS

  • Strong Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience particularly on EC2, S3, Code Pipeline, Code Commit, Code Deploy, CloudWatch, Code Lambda deployments, API Gateway, RDS, CloudFront, Kinesis Stream, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, ECS/ECR, Batchjob, App Mesh etc. cloud technologies.

  • Solid understanding and experience architecting container-based solutions using Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, or similar products.

  • Experience in working with monitoring tools like App Dynamics, Splunk, and Zabbix.

  • Experience in Linux/Unix administration and Windows Servers.

  • Experience with Apache Tomcat and Microsoft web server

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience in an environment where Data analytics and machine learning are part of the enterprise architecture

  • Knowledge of maintaining security continuous monitoring.

  • Experience in Coverity scan and Seeker 

  • Ability to learn Emerging Technologies as needed to support the team.

The annual salary range for this position is $100,200.00-$150,200.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
