About the role
As Customer Marketing Manager OTC in our Munich office your role is to ensure excellent execution of shopper and customer activations and programs for leading brands like Voltaren. The position requires a strong cross functional collaboration, working closely with marketing, sales and category to ensure alignment of our objectives and strategies of our business to maximize growth opportunities and meet customer and shopper needs.
As a Customer Marketing Manager OTC you are responsible to execute and implement the annual category and brand plans flawlessly. You are a team player with a can do attitude and the ability to work independently.
You have previous experience in Customer/Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing or Sales and have the passion to work with cross-functional teams to deliver results. Your flexibility and resilience are pivotal to your success in this role.
Key responsibilities
- You will implement compelling sell-in stories based on overarching brand strategy, execute annual promotion plan flawlessly and bring shopper strategies and trade activation to life instore and have budget ownership
- You will deliver excellent in Store Execution (development of repacking items, POS material as well as digital content and assets) along the shopper journey
- You will ensure performance tracking and initiating corrective actions to improve performance where needed and develop sales cycle planning
- You will be collaborating and co-creating closely with the cross-functional teams (Comex, Mkt, Sales) to make sure that respective input is integrated in order to guarantee best possible sell-in and excellent execution in Store (off- and online)
- You will work together with our agencies and external supplier management
Qualifications and skills
- University degree in business administration, economics or related
- 2+ years of work experience within a FMCG organization, Customer/Trade or Brand Marketing, Sales, Digital Commerce
- Strategic thinking, true understanding of shoppers & customers and a hands-on & can-do mentality
- Passionate about driving brands & creating a seamless product experience for our shoppers and bringing added value to our customers
- Highly innovative and results driven personality, strong communication and analytical skills
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Strong collaboration & stakeholder management skills, demonstrated in excellent management of internal and external stakeholders (e.g. agencies) and crossfunctional teams
- Strong project management skills, experienced in managing several complex projects in parallel
- Pharmacy landscape know-how (off- and online)
