Clinical Information Analyst

Hours: Part-Time 15 hours per week

Location: Hybrid/ Work from home with travel into Bedford/London Head Offices

Closing Date: 8th October 2024

               

We are looking for a Clinical Information Analyst to join our Clinical Governance team to support the clinical information needs of Ramsay Health Care through the provision of accurate and relevant analysis and reports.

The role

You will develop and maintain a suite of information to be circulated to the business on a monthly, quarterly and ad hoc basis to monitor quality indicators as well as develop the capability of the department with a view to continuously and proactively improving the quality and number of information products available to the organisation.  This will include helping staff within the organisation determine their information needs and subsequently build the necessary systems and reports required to meet those needs.

What you will bring:

  • Experience of designing and implementing performance management systems and frameworks

  • Advanced IT skills, including competence in use of databases, spreadsheets and ability to summarise data in tables, charts and pivot tables: Excel and SQL Detailed understanding of and competence in the use and application of different modelling tools, analytical and/or statistical packages

  • Experience of designing and implementing performance management systems and frameworks

  • Ability to translate clinical, managerial and other issues and information into valid data and useable information

  • Ability to interpret information and offer appropriate advice and direction to inform decision making

  • Understanding of the use of and vision to apply different modelling tools, analytical and/or statistical packages to improve information and decision- making in the company

  • Experience of working within a primary care or acute setting – desirable

  • Familiarity with core NHS reporting and data flows, CDS, UNIFY2, KPI’s etc – desirable

  • Competency with Excel, PowerBI, Business Objects Toolset, SQL Server and Transact SQL – highly desirable
