Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a professional behavior while picking up and delivering freight.
- Securely load, unload, and transport freight in line with safety regulations.
- Follow scanning, Proof of Delivery procedures, and TGE’s OH&S policies.
- Handle all consignment paperwork, manifests, and notes at pickup points.
- Ensure freight is packaged safely and effectively.
About You:
Skills & Experience:
- Strong ability to communicate effectively and provide outstanding customer service.
- Current and valid HC or MC license required.
- Current Forklift License required.
- Minimum of 2 years in freight pick-up and delivery, including general and express freight.
Preferred Experience:
- Radio Communications Systems
- Load Restraint Systems & Equipment
- National Transport Commission’s Load Restraint Guidelines
- Ability to pass medical, background, and drug & alcohol tests.
