Team Global Express values and respects the vital role of truck drivers. We are thrilled to offer full-time, permanent positions for experienced HC & Forklift Driver at our Hobart Depot. This is a rare opportunity to be part of an exciting transformation and work with a team dedicated to safety and employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a professional behavior while picking up and delivering freight.
  • Securely load, unload, and transport freight in line with safety regulations.
  • Follow scanning, Proof of Delivery procedures, and TGE’s OH&S policies.
  • Handle all consignment paperwork, manifests, and notes at pickup points.
  • Ensure freight is packaged safely and effectively.

About You:

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Current and valid HC or MC license required.
  • Current Forklift License required.
  • Minimum of 2 years in freight pick-up and delivery, including general and express freight.

Preferred Experience:

  • Radio Communications Systems
  • Load Restraint Systems & Equipment
  • National Transport Commission’s Load Restraint Guidelines
  • Ability to pass medical, background, and drug & alcohol tests.
