Position Description

Revenera is looking for a talented UX designer with a skill for making complex business tasks feel simple and intuitive. The ideal candidate will design experiences centered on the people using our products. You’ll do this by learning about our products and how our customers use them, and then translating your insights into wireframes and prototypes.

You will work with the UX Manager and interact with members of engineering, product management, and support teams to ensure your designs meet our customers’ needs.

Responsibilities
  • Work directly with the UX Manager, engineers, and product managers to learn about design assignments and the customer facing goals.
  • Create wireframe and high-fidelity prototypes of design assignments.
  • Create UX experiences that feel simple and straightforward, even when the data or the procedure is not.
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.
  • Participate in design reviews. Foster a healthy design practice by giving and receiving constructive feedback with maturity and perspective.
  • Present your designs to stakeholders. You should be able to communicate your designs with passion and support them with data in addition to your intuition.
Required Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a design-related field—such as human-computer interaction (HCI), interaction design, visual design—or comparable experience.
  • 7-10 years of UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing elegant solutions for complex SaaS products.
  • Expertise in standard UX software such as Figma, Axure, Sketch, InVision, and the like.
  • You have a positive, can-do approach that invites collaboration.
  • Experience following the standards identified in a design system. Ability to develop and maintain a design system is a plus.
  • Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
  • Experience with WCAG 2.0 and design with accessibility in mind.
  • Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and share knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies with your peers.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your thought process for solving a real user need.
