Position Summary:

 

As a key member of the Teladoc Supply Chain/Operations team, the Supply Chain Manager role will be directly responsible for driving several aspects of day-to-day supplier management activities. Activities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Forecasting demand to suppliers & capacity planning
  • Factory operations/labor planning with suppliers
  • Spend management & cost optimization
  • Negotiating with Tier 1, Tier 2 suppliers for various commercial term improvements (e.g. pricing & supply)
  • Inventory management (raw materials, FG WIP, FG)
  • Supply Risk mitigation (dual sourcing, new factories, safety stock management, supplier health monitoring)
  • Being main liaison for Teladoc to supplier & for supplier to Teladoc
  • HW/Device Roadmap discussions with suppliers
  • Competitive analysis & industry benchmarking
  • Contract management
  • Various Supply Chain optimization activities
  • QBRs, Business Reviews, Supplier Feedback

 

The Category Manager will be focused on supplier relationship management, maximizing savings, supplier performance, and optimizing Teladoc Health’s supply chain base.

 

This is a highly visible role within our organization, as you will collaborate with key stakeholders and business leaders to ensure contract delivery (of Products and/or Services) and deadlines met for business continuity.  This role requires comfort with ambiguity, strong communication skills, and ability to integrate seamlessly with many internal and external cross-functional groups.

 

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for operating within Teladoc Health’s core Sourcing competencies.

In order to effectively maximize savings, manage supplier relationships, and optimize Teladoc Health’s global supplier base, the Category Manager will partner with business teams across the organization to qualify use case(s), negotiate commercial terms, ensure compliance requirements, and maintain internal service levels to support the business.

 

Required Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of relevant Sourcing and supplier management experience.
  • Demonstrated business integrity and ability to ensure deadlines are met, including re-establishing priorities as necessary.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Experience working with Sourcing lifecycles, and a deep knowledge of Sourcing best practices.
  • Experience developing and executing contracts.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external resources.
  • A proven history of meeting department goals within budget and established timelines.
  • Experience managing process and projects.
  • The ability to learn and leverage various tools and systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Familiarity with S2P/P2P software platforms, spend analysis, should-cost modeling and performance metrics reporting.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Any of the following certifications is a plus: Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Supply Chain Management (ISM), Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.”

Education Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or related field of study from an accredited university 

The base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $115,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2024. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
