CMFG Life Insurance Company, d/b/a TruStage., is seeking an Automation Engineer to work remotely in the United States.  The individual will report to the company HQ in Madison, WI.

The individual in this position is responsible for the development, testing, implementation, documentation and maintenance of high-quality automation testing solutions on various computer platforms in response to the story flow across sprints, adhering to established methodology and practices. Perform architecturally compliant technical design of automation based on the technical and business requirements that need to be covered for each software release. Collaborate with developers, automation engineers, Tech Leads, and Product Owners about daily progress or blockers. The individual must perform root cause analysis, impact analysis, problem determination and problem resolution support. The individual in this position acts as Technical Leader on multiple complex automation/testing initiatives of small or medium size, including mentoring staff as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Computer Engineering, or a related field and at least 4 years of UI and API automation framework/spec creation & development.  As part of the 4 years of UI and API automation framework/spec creation & development experience required, the individual must have:
    • 4 years of experience with Selenium WebDriver;
    • 4 years experience with mobile automation testing;
    • 3 years working in a collaborative Development Team working in Scrum or Kanban with experience in programs like Azure DevOps or Jira;
    • 2 years of experience with C# or Java; and
    • 1 year working in Financial Technology Industry

Base Pay Range: $121,600 to $124,100
