THE ROLE:

A Creative Content Producer is a multifaceted, dynamic team member responsible for content creation and production across various platforms from concept to final delivery. This role involves a combination of creative vision, production planning, and technical skills to bring ideas to life. A successful Creative Content Producer combines creativity with strategic thinking, possesses excellent organizational skills, and is passionate about storytelling for niche audiences. They play a crucial role in building brand awareness, engaging audiences, and driving content initiatives that contribute to the organization's overall success. Creative Content Producers are production experts and use their knowledge of systems and execution to inspire themselves, the team, and the client. They are self-starters, bringing their vision to life from start to finish and understand that production isn’t just one-dimensional in the social landscape.

The Creative Content Producer role focuses on developing content for vertical video placements and involves creating engaging, short-form videos tailored to the platform's audience. This role typically includes the development of original video content based on trend analysis and may include planning, scripting, filming, and editing to bring that content to life. Team members across the design team are often involved with this work to apply their niche skill sets/mediums such as stop motion, animation, 3D, AI imagery, and other specialized types of production. Additionally, team members sometimes feature their own hands, voices, and faces in the videos to create unique, attention-grabbing concepts. This role requires creativity, a deep understanding of vertical video platform’s unique culture, and the ability to adapt quickly to new trends and feedback.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Content Strategy and Planning: Developing content strategies aligned with brand goals and audience preferences. Planning brainstorms, helping curate content calendars, themes, and formats to ensure consistent and engaging output.
  • Content Creation: Collaborating with writers, designers, videographers, and other creatives to produce high-quality content. This includes hands-on production and crafting, directing shoots, and editing videos to create visually appealing and informative pieces.
  • Art Direction: Providing creative guidance and feedback to ensure content meets brand standards and resonates with the target audience. This includes brainstorming new ideas and staying updated with industry trends to keep content fresh and innovative.
  • Quality Control: Reviewing and approving content before publication to ensure it meets quality standards and aligns with the brand’s voice and messaging.
  • Audience Engagement: When insights are provided by peers, this role is expected to apply those learnings and adapt creative to optimize future productions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with client services, project management, creative, and production teammates to ensure content supports broader business objectives. Effective communication is key to aligning goals and maximizing the impact of content.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilizing various tools and software for content creation, including cameras, mics, lighting, video editing software, graphic design tools, and content management systems. This includes staying up to date with evolving platform features and editing tools.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • 5+ years experience with camera operation, video editing, and sound design
  • Experience editing short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram reels
  • Advanced skills with video editing software in Adobe Premiere
  • Experience with directing talent or on-street personalities
  • Experience with basic lighting, small-scale set design, and staging

The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
