Solutions Architect

Summary

Solutions Architects translate client requirements and objectives into solutions that will create mutual value for SPINS and our client partners. They are master craftsmen using all tools in the arsenal, Solutions Architects use their robust delivery skills, deep understanding of the competitive landscape and unparalleled knowledge of SPINS’ offerings to create win/win solutions for our clients. Sales understanding and industry acumen allow them to empower our clients with creative solutions and to advocate SPINS’ offerings throughout the market landscape. This position reports to the Director, Solutions Architect.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business challenges, identify expansion whitespace, and provide perspective on how they can capitalize on industry trends
  • Utilize relevant data analysis to uncover and define client growth opportunities, ensuring alignment with effective SPINS short-term and long-term solutions.
  • Partner closely with Sales to drive understanding of how manufacturers can leverage SPINS data to reach their marketplace goals
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, both internally and externally, by offering data-driven insights and thoughtful perspectives for brand and category advancement across the dynamic CPG space
  • Act as a technical liaison between Sales and Product Marketing teams to ensure applicable communication and collateral is available for successful go-to-market
  • Inspire colleagues and clients through data-driven storytelling and engaging presentations, delivering dynamic presentations to foster deep client engagement.
  • Synthesize multiple data inputs to create persuasive viewpoints that drive decision-making.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in the CPG industry with a strong acumen.
  • Background in Consulting, Market Research, Insights or Category/Brand Management
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel,
  • Proficiency with SPINS, Circana, or Nielsen Data
  • Eagerness to learn about new business functions, solutions, and technology.
  • Intellectual curiosity with an interest in innovation and consumer behavior.
  • Passion for the Food, Beverage, and VMS industry.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Excellent communicator and stakeholder manager, comfortable working at varying levels of senior leadership
