Case Manager (US College Counseling)

We are a thriving international education organization with expertise in helping international students from 30+ countries make successful transitions to US schools. We are seeking a full-time Case Manager to join our College Counseling team. This is a remote role, but preference will be given to candidates based in China. As a Case Manager, you will be the main contact for students and parents enrolled in ABC College Counseling services. 

This position is for a newly created business unit and comes with a significant amount of opportunity to grow with our organization. 

Responsibilities:

• Support students and parents through their onboarding, including helping them navigate the online counseling platform.
• Set up appropriate communication channels, such as WeChat groups and/or email chains with the parents, student, Counselor and Essay Coach
• Provide reports to parents about the counseling activities their student and translate important information on a regular basis
• Help students overcome learning obstacles, understand program expectations, and develop strategies for success.
• Monitor student progress and intervene as necessary to support their continued forward progression, communicating with the Counselor and/or Essay Coach as needed.
• Serve as the college counseling subject matter expert for our China-based teams.
• Help build operational processes for our college counseling business.
• Support sales through conducting consultations and leading presentations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• An undergraduate or graduate degree
• An understanding of the education systems in China and the USA
• A deep understanding of the US college admissions process for Chinese students
• Experience in US College Counseling
• Experience working with Chinese students and parents
• Experience as a coach, mentor or student support role for students aged 13-18
• Native Mandarin speaker with professional fluency in English

Compensation:

• Base Salary: 10,000 RMB per month
• Bonus: 500 RMB per student

• 担任我们中国团队的大学咨询主题专家。
• 帮助建立我们的大学咨询业务的运营流程。
• 通过进行咨询和领导演示来支持销售。

所需的技能和经验：

• 本科或研究生学位
• 了解中美两国的教育体系
• 深入了解美国对中国学生的大学招生过程
• 有美国大学咨询的经验
• 有与中国学生和家长合作的经验
• 有为13-18岁的学生担任教练、导师或学生支持角色的经验
• 母语为普通话，英语流利

薪水：

• 底薪：每月10,000元人民币
• 奖励：每名学生500元人民币
