Job description

Your missions

Location: Remotely, with monthly visits to Riyadh, KSA.
Project Duration: 6 months.
Year of Experience: 5 years.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English (written and spoken).

We are seeking a qualified Deputy Project Manager with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and significant experience in consulting services and sustainability projects. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record working in Saudi Arabia and will assist the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management capabilities to drive sustainability initiatives and ensure project deliverables are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager in the planning and execution of projects, particularly focusing on sustainability and consulting services.
Lead specific project phases or workstreams, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the project scope, schedule, and budget.
Support the coordination of resources and manage day-to-day operations of the project team.
Assist in the preparation of project documents, including project plans, timelines, budgets, and status reports.
Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct site visits and work closely with teams in Saudi Arabia to ensure compliance with local regulations and sustainability standards.
Perform risk management, problem-solving, and troubleshooting activities as issues arise during the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress and assist in making adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
Prepare regular reports for the Project Manager and senior management on project performance and status.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or related field).
Proven experience working in Saudi Arabia with an understanding of the local market and regulations.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management roles, including experience in consulting services.
Experience in sustainability projects is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
