We’re looking for a dynamic Services Leader to join our team and take our professional services function to the next level.

Position Overview:  

The Services Leader will own and lead the Accounting Managed Service function, overseeing a team that delivers the overall deduction management service to our CPG clients. This role requires a strategic, operationally-minded individual with a deep understanding of accounting and experience in scaling teams. The ideal candidate will focus on improving processes, increasing efficiency, and planning for growth while ensuring top-tier service delivery to our clients. 

This position will require experience and expertise in the ability to improve the organization through business process, analytics, automation, and tracking. The ideal candidate will have a consulting mindset, with the ability to track resources, project success and profitability, improve resource management, deployment and utilization, project operations administration, business operations and performance management. 

We are looking for a strategic thinker that can see the big picture, strive for ongoing improvement, and thrive in a hyper-growth, dynamic environment. Your goal is efficiency and automation to drive margins while delivering exceptional customer outcomes. 

Ideal candidates will have experience in scaling managed services organizations, the CPG industry, and accounting (or a combination of those experiences).

*If you have not previously managed a team of at least 20 to 30, with 2 to 4 direct reports who are people managers, please do not apply. This is a hard requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Role and Responsibility (listed in order of importance) 

  • Be a strategic operator that can map the process, measure it maniacally, and consistently work to automate and improve the process for maximum efficiency
  • Partner with the Customer Experience team and Professional Services senior leadership to establish strategic plans, operational & financial objectives to unlock productivity and accelerate execution
  • Develop strategies and measurable plans to scale the Services offering with maximum efficiency; Grow and scale the team to meet business demands, ensuring appropriate headcount and capacity planning
  • Develop standard operating model and improvement roadmaps, identifying opportunities for process and technology improvement and optimization including redesign, and development of new process and policies
  • Drive the operational cadence for the group, develop, measure and track critical KPIs and present findings and actionable insight to leadership
  • Drive the business performance management framework, incorporating financial and operational metrics that drive informed business decisions, identification of trends and recommendations to optimize performance
  • Leverage business systems including SFDC, CS platform, and the Vividly platform to deliver reliable, scalable and efficient solutions to support services objectives
  • Maximize and optimize Services operations resources, aligning priorities and focus on highest value work; continuous refinement of roles and outcomes to best meet the needs of the business
  • Act as conduit and change agent between the business and supporting teams - including Sales, CX, Finance and HR. 
  • Centralize SOW process and have oversight on scoping projects, own the SOW and operating model for the function 
  • Resource management and capacity oversight
  • Project monitoring and hygiene

Required Qualifications:

  • Years of Experience in Related Field: 7 years in an operations leadership role
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, operations or related area 
  • Demonstrated experience in managing international teams
  • Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Broad knowledge of professional services and the processes, challenges and business context associated with PS, based on experience in a variety of roles and functions
  • Proven track record of leading, managing, and growing a managed service function related to accounting/finance or accounting operations team.
  • Experience as a Controller, Sr. Trade Accounting Manager, or similar role in a CPG company or brokerage is highly desirable
  • Accounting knowledge and CPG knowledge preferred
  • Strong leadership, people development and influencing skills; able to build and lead
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills and are equally adept in communicating upwards and downward and ability to work across groups and geographies
  • Experience driving large and complex initiatives from framing the problem, conducting research and analysis to building business and operational plans through to driving execution to success
  • History of operational excellence, exceptional analytical skills and execution abilities
  • Resourceful, results-oriented and highly energetic
  • Knowledge of business forecasting and performance management processes and approaches
  • Ability to effectively work with tight schedules and fast paced environment
  • Passion for customer success, empowering others and delivering value to customers

**Preferred Experience:**

  • Operational scaling experience within a large or rapidly growing organization
  • Familiarity with the challenges of deduction management in the CPG space
