We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Water/Wastewater Technical Advisor to join our dynamic engineering team. This pivotal role involves leading the design, planning, and management of water/wastewater projects that are essential for sustainable community development. You will work collaboratively with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to oversee the successful execution of projects from conception through completion. This position not only demands technical expertise, but also requires strong leadership capabilities to facilitate effective communication among project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and analysis of water and wastewater treatment systems
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to water and wastewater systems
  • Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Provide technical support for full system evaluations, design, and construction oversight of any and all system improvements
  • Investigates and provides recommendations for system emergencies and environmental compliance issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative solutions
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements for existing water and wastewater systems
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to communicate project progress and address concerns

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience with water/wastewater engineering projects
  • Knowledge of water/wastewater regulatory compliance and operation management
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling tools
