Job description

Description

At Otelier, we put data and efficiency at the heart of hotel operations so hoteliers can return to hospitality. As the hospitality software behind every great host, we provide the tools to automate back-office tasks, streamline budgeting and forecasting, and offer crystal-clear insights into property or portfolio performance. Embrace the opportunity to be part of a transformative journey with Otelier, where we harness data to optimize operations, facilitate decision-making, and automate the mundane. This is not just a career — it's a chance to shape the future of hospitality, making data work for the industry, not the other way around.

The Corporate IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing Otelier's Corporate IT and Business Application functional areas. This role involves acting as the primary liaison between the company and its IT service provider, managing IT and Business Application projects, developing and enforcing IT policies, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, project management, and a solid understanding of system configuration and integration.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Corporate IT lead, managing relationships with IT service provider and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Communicate and coordinate with employees regarding IT projects and changes.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with key vendors to ensure service delivery and address any issues.
  • Standardize and manage IT onboarding and off-boarding processes for employees, ensuring a smooth and secure transition.
  • Help develop, implement, and document IT policies and processes to support organizational goals.
  • Help define and execute an IT roadmap, including findings from quarterly risk assessments and strategic planning.
  • Manage projects related to business applications such as Salesforce and Netsuite, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and overall project success.
  • Drive consolidation and standardization of business applications, ensuring systems support organizational workflows and historical data is migrated successfully.
  • Possess a basic understanding of system configuration and integration setup to support area-specific teams.
  • Oversee IT security and compliance efforts, including supporting SOC 2 audit and GDPR compliance.
  • Ensure employees adhere to security best practices and company policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in IT or Business Application management, including working closely with third-party vendors or consultants
  • Exposure to Microsoft 365 Suite, Salesforce, Netsuite, Atlassian
  • Strong project management skills
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2).
  • Excellent communication and change management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functional areas.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, scalable approach to IT and Business Application challenges.
