Role Overview:

We are looking for a full-stack engineer generalist who cares deeply about driving business impact by improving user experience. The Monetization & Growth team is responsible for optimizing our customer conversion funnel through experiments. We focus on enhancing the user journey as customers get started on our platform, building towards launching their first successful app. Our goal is to drive user growth, improve monetization, and make product improvements that help customers get the most value. You will work alongside designers, PMs, marketers, and other engineers on projects that drive impact in user growth and monetization. In this role, youll develop a deep understanding of our architecture and codebase while gaining insight into our product and its users

Key Responsibilities:

Use your full-stack engineering expertise to build user-facing experiences and engineering systems that optimize growth and monetization.
Work across all levels of the stack, from Node.js and SQL to React, HTML, and CSS.
Create reusable, maintainable systems and abstractions to help the development team move faster

Must-Have Qualifications:

You have 5+ years of experience as a software engineering generalist
You take a thoughtful approach to decision-making, knowing when to move fast and when to prioritize doing things the right way.
You believe the best products help users achieve their goals while driving business growth.
You have a results-oriented approach, with an inherent ability to identify innovative product changes, translate them into specifications, and deliver a higher-quality product.
You have a strong background in computer science, with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

• Full-time contractor (no benefits)

• Remote only, full-time dedication (40 hours/week)

• Required 5 hours overlap with PST (Pacific Standard Time)
