The Business combines sales, trading and research teams who structure a range of financial market products and market these to our targeted client base. Deutsche Bank trades all currencies, including G10, Emerging Markets and Precious Metals, in all tenors. Working in a period of economic and regulatory uncertainty, the team places emphasis on innovation, collaboration, and risk management. The Global Foreign Exchange business is looking to hire a risk-manager for Foreign Exchange (FX) Forwards in New York.

What You’ll Do

  • Pricing of client deals

  • Managing risk to FX Swap, interest rate, and Cross Currency Swap markets

  • Driving business growth

  • Funding desk cash positions

  • Liaising with other traders in pricing transactions involving multiple books

  • Interacting with sales and originations to generate new business

Skills You’ll Need

  • Experience of pricing and managing FX Forwards & STIR products

  • Knowledge all short end rate derivatives, XCCY swaps, and FX Forwards

  • Excellent spreadsheet and database skills (Matlab, Visual Basic for applications, Java)

  • Proven risk management skills; strong interpersonal skills and strong analytical skills

  • Able to understand and interpret market trends and identify, communicate, and market trade ideas

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $135K to $175K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
