Strategic Account Executive - Health

Locations: New Jersey/Remote

The Strategic Account Executive will manage multiple accounts (8-12) with a primary goal of fortifying the existing relationship, while looking for opportunities to expand service and solution offerings for SS&C Health.  You will lead our most valued customers. Embracing a challenger mindset, the successful Strategic Account Executive manages, orchestrates, and leads, closing opportunities with customers that produce transformative business outcomes. This role will be focused on developing executive level relationships, driving incremental revenue through cross-selling and up-selling, creating and leading long-term strategic account plans, including profitability, and contract renewals.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Proactively develops a comprehensive understanding of the customer's business and technology needs and priorities for each assigned account. Identifies opportunities to drive optimizations and new business and technology solutions based on customer's strategies. Presents solutions and ideas based on customer insights. 

  • Supports business transformation through technology for assigned accounts in multiple business units to drive business outcomes and create business value

  • Thinks strategically about customer planning, setting standards and priorities, outlining where to and how to invest resources and other stakeholders. Engaging internal and external decision makers on long-term business planning, and anticipating needs of assigned accounts to turn enterprise accounts into strategic accounts. 

  • Oversees multiple accounts and leads planning and prioritization efforts to anticipate and ensure appropriate responses to account needs.

  • Develops strategies to manage pipeline and meet sales goals by reviewing forecasts, assessing and mitigating risks, and ensuring strategy alignment with business priorities. 

  • Develop and maintain financial models, evaluating ROI, CAS, LTV, and other key metrics

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree 

  • 8+ years of experience in the healthcare industry with a focus on government programs (Health Plans, PBMS, Health Systems.)

  • Experience working in a carrying role of 2M plus per year. expectations for profitability, achieving strategic customer objectives defined by management, and proven track record for service delivery and/or the sales of technology products and services

  • Experience completing strategic customer account plans, and maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings

  • Experience in developing presentation materials for an Executive Level review and leading presentations to internal and external executives.

  • Experience working directly with C-Suite Clients, providing

  • Experience with Consultative Negotiations.

  • 70% travel required

Jersey City, NJ: Salary range for the position: 160,000 USD to 175,000 USD.
