What are we looking for?

SentinelOne is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Engineer to join our Embedded Business team, focusing on supporting our strategic partnership with Lenovo in the NA region. This role is pivotal in driving technical pre-sales activities, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the successful integration of SentinelOne's solutions within Lenovo's offerings.

What will you do?

  • Technical Pre-Sales Support: Provide technical support and expertise during the pre-sales process, including product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and addressing technical queries from potential customers to support the expansion of SentinelOne’s market presence with Lenovo. 
  • Solution Design and Integration: Collaborate with Lenovo and internal teams to design and integrate SentinelOne's endpoint security solutions into Lenovo's products and services. 
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements, present tailored solutions, and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain detailed records of pre-sales activities, customer engagements, and technical solutions. Generate reports and provide updates to leadership on the status of pre-sales efforts.
  • Training and Enablement: Conduct training sessions for Lenovo's sales and technical teams to ensure they are well-versed in SentinelOne's solutions and can effectively communicate their value to customers.

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, technical support, or a related field, with a proven track record of supporting large-scale partnerships and achieving technical sales targets. Operational or sales experience with SaaS EDR solutions a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical background in endpoint security solutions, identity and cloud security solutions, and Managed Detection and Response (MDR)/Security Operations Center (SOC) services. Ability to understand and troubleshoot technical issues related to product activation and integration.
  • Certifications: Highly preferred to be a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional internal teams and external partners, including product management, sales, and engineering teams.

$134,400$184,800 USD
