Tasks and Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic Compensation & Benefits programs

  • Analyze market trends and perform benchmarking to ensure a competitive global compensation system

  • Design and implement remuneration concepts (e.g., variable compensation elements like STI, LTI, and employee stock programs) and develop relevant policies

  • Participate in the compensation committee of the Supervisory Board and advise the Supervisory Board on KION Executive Board compensation

  • Conduct job evaluations for the top 500 executives and regularly review compensation through benchmarking

  • Oversee the implementation and periodic adjustment of the global job catalog

  • Coordinate the integration of compensation concepts into our global HR system

  • Manage company pension schemes, ensuring an attractive system

  • Establish an HR Reporting and Analytics Hub for all HR metrics

  • Ensure a robust data foundation, compliant reporting, and data analysis using appropriate KPIs

  • Lead a team of Compensation & Benefits specialists and oversee the HR Controlling and Analytics team

Requirements:

  • A completed university degree in business administration, human resources management, or a related field

  • At least ten years of professional experience, including five years of extensive experience in designing and implementing Compensation & Benefits programs in an international company with a global focus

  • In-depth knowledge of the German and international compensation and benefits landscape

  • Strong strategic planning skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset

  • High resilience and flexibility in a dynamic environment

  • Intercultural competence and the ability to work in a global context

  • Fluency in both German and English, spoken and written
