The role you will play
As Render continues to experience growth globally, the Senior Account Executive will be critical to accelerating our growth. We’re looking for a tenacious, self-driven sales professional with a technical aptitude and a background or an interest in SaaS technology and network construction. You’ll be responsible for generating new business for Render by contacting prospective customers who could achieve great value from Render’s digital platform offering. You’ll deliver against the sales strategy and sell the value of our platform to the telco, network engineering, and construction customers who seek to reduce risk and aid productivity in their development of network infrastructure projects.
 
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role will drive US market growth and success within a global scaleup in an industry that is experiencing exponential growth.

Your mission @ Render:
  • Prospecting for US-based sales opportunities within the telco, network engineering, and construction industries, with the goal of converting Marketing Qualified Leads to live opportunities
  • Management of sales pipeline activity via our CRM, Hubspot;
  • Delivering against sales targets and metrics;
  • Development of Render case studies to aid pitch development in partnership with the Business Development Manager;
  • Confident management of negotiations and contracts with identified key decision-makers;
  • Delivering against quarterly financial and non-financial metrics and other variable key performance requirements;
  • Ensuring client satisfaction at all touchpoints of the sales process, with a focus on pre and post-sales support and effective communication with the Network Delivery team to drive customer success during implementation;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business requirements and communicate network capabilities and concepts;
  • Management of key industry and customer relationships;
  • Champion Render’s Digital Network Construction approach across North America with passion and belief in our technology capability when communicating with clients and at trade shows and conferences;
  • Represent Render at conferences and events and participate as a thought leader in marketing efforts as required.

  • As our ideal candidate, you’ll have:
  • Demonstrated senior sales experience in the network engineering and construction segments of the telecommunications and wireless industries with trusted, long-standing relationships in the US market;
  • Proven background as a strong sales performer in the industry in which we operate with the ability to achieve and exceed revenue targets;
  • An understanding of GIS technology and how it is and can be applied in network design, construction and operations environments;
  • Is excited about the positive impact technology can have on traditional construction approaches;
  • Is driven by providing exceptional customer experience and providing solutions and products that drive efficiency for our customers;
  • Proven ability to communicate with influence executive-level stakeholders;
  • The drive to work at pace in high-growth environments, and has strong analytical, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.
