Summary of Job Duties:
The Data Entry Coordinator position is essential to the efficient operations of UAMS Regional Programs/Campuses. This position is responsible for the data entry of material from source documents to a computer-connected terminal.

This position will verify data and perform clerical tasks in data processing, such as examining, revising, approving, and dispatching input and output materials according to established specifications. The data entry coordinator will identify any issues or trends and bring them to the management team's attention. Responsible for the data entry of material from source documents to a computer-connected terminal. Verify data and perform clerical tasks in the data processing function. Examine, revise, and approve input/output materials according to established specifications. Identify any issues or trends and bring them to the management team. Meet productivity standards as outlined in client metrics.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent to high school diploma, plus three (3) years of administrative experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer/keyboard skills.
  • Ability to conduct internet searches, work with spreadsheets, and interpret and apply results.
  • Customer Service:  Interact with and assist the public in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Communicate accurate and complete information.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when necessary. 
  • Demonstrate positive working relationships with co-workers, management team, and ancillary departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry

  • Work closely with project managers and/or data personnel to ensure all data is collected and entered correctly.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information processed.
  • Gather and enter data into databases.
  • Input data accurately and promptly from source documents.
  • Sort information based on priorities and ensure its accuracy.
  • Correct errors and deficiencies in data, and check for any incompatibilities.
  • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.

Other Duties as Assigned

  • Assist internal and external stakeholders as needed with exceptional customer service.
  • Work with central leadership to meet the ongoing goals and objectives of current and future grant/foundation initiatives, as well as regional center needs, there may be other duties as assigned at any time related to key partnerships, marketing, residency interviews, clinical needs, and community relations, among others.
