Job Description:

Lower, LLC a Columbus, Ohio based National Mortgage Lender is looking for a Content Marketing Manager. This person will be in charge of crafting the content strategy, both on-site and off-site.

What you’ll do:

  • Create a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company’s goals for brand awareness, lead generation, and organic traffic growth. This includes identifying target audiences, setting key performance indicators (KPIs), and defining the voice and tone of the brand across all content channels (blogs, videos, social media, etc.).

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the content production team, including writers, editors, and designers. This involves assigning tasks, managing timelines, ensuring quality control, and keeping projects on track from ideation to publication. Act as the central point of contact to facilitate communication between team members and other departments.

  • Analyze the performance of existing content to identify gaps in coverage, such as unaddressed topics, underserved keywords, or content types (e.g., video, infographics) to improve search rankings, boost domain authority, and increase organic traffic.

  • Regularly track and analyze content performance through metrics like organic traffic, engagement rates, conversion rates, and SEO rankings.

  • Use data insights to refine content strategies, A/B test headlines and formats, and adjust tactics to maximize ROI and align with business objectives.

  • Serve as the content lead for go-to-market strategies, coordinating the development and execution of content that supports product launches, new feature rollouts, and major campaigns. Work with cross-functional teams to craft compelling narratives, educational resources, and promotional materials that drive engagement and customer adoption during critical launch periods.

Who you are:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive content strategies, targeting key audiences, setting KPIs, and adjusting tactics based on performance data.

  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams of writers, editors, and designers, excelling at assigning tasks, managing timelines, and keeping projects on track from ideation to execution.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics (organic traffic, SEO rankings, engagement rates, etc.), to identify content gaps, and use data to continually refine and optimize content strategies for better ROI.

  • Keen eye for creating compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences across different content channels (blogs, videos, social media), using the right voice and tone to craft a singular brand voice that resonates with customers no matter the channel they encounter the brand in.

  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices, content optimization, and keyword strategy. You know how to leverage content to improve search rankings and boost domain authority.

  • Comfortable working with product, marketing, and design teams to develop go-to-market content that supports product launches, feature rollouts, and major campaigns.

Why you’ll love working at Lower:

  • You’ll be surrounded by talented, dedicated people who believe in the company’s mission.
