Overview:

Summary

The primary responsibility of the Sr. Procurement Analyst is to serve as the liaison between ConvergeOne and its vendors, managing the long-term vendor relationship. The Sr. PA’s duties will involve sourcing and vetting of vendors, negotiating contracts and quotes, while managing these contracts from inception through expiration and potential renewal.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

  • Oversees the vetting of potential vendors with strategic input from business practice areas to formulate a decision as to which vendors to onboard
  • Owns the onboarding process of new vendors while capturing specific data essential to manage and analyze the vendor’s performance
  • Leads the contract negotiations as it pertains to the commercial items around pricing, discounts and rebates to net payment terms.
  • Leads procurement projects such as developing a repository of contract meta-data to help manage vendor contracts.
  • Facilitates the contract lifecycle management process and maintains vendor contract records and system meta data
  • Leads vendor management activities across areas of the business as it pertains to dispute resolution or problem remediation with suppliers
  • Collaborates with personnel from Accounting, Legal and other Departments to process bids, finalize contract activities, monitor outcome and intervene as needed.
  • Directs and governs with all ConvergeOne teams, on the use of specific vendors as decided by the Strategic Sourcing, Practice Areas and Sales Operations
  • Manages and analyzes vendor adherence to existing contracts as well as work with the strategic sourcing leader in regards to contract expirations, renewals or formal sourcing treatments
  • Updates and maintains key performance indicators developed by the Manager and assist with the development and documentation of all policies and procedures for the Contracts Team.

Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sets priorities taking into account short and long term needs of the business
  • Addressees questions that may arise from Internal and/or External Auditors regarding Contracts

 

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, supply chain or vendor management
  • Performs detailed work related to contract negotiation with good judgement, accuracy, and promptness
  • Communicates effectively, follow and give oral and written directions
  • Detail oriented with an aptitude for numbers
  • Interacts with all departments in a helpful, courteous, and friendly manner
  • Ability to think outside the box and problem solving skills
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • College Degree
  • Experience with formal ‘Sourcing to Pay’ business processes and systems to manage process
  • Experience with developing requirements and building ‘Request for Proposals’.

Pay Range

$60,000 - $85,000

Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
