Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our agile team in protecting our organization's data and systems from unauthorized access and breaches. This is a fully remote position, but you must be available to work within the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone.
Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze data to prevent unauthorized access, use, or transmission of sensitive information
Configure and manage data security tools and policies
Review alerts for potential data breaches and investigate incidents to determine their cause and impact
Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement corrective actions and improve data protection strategies
Provide documentation and effective communication throughout all processes

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Cybersecurity)
Proven experience in cybersecurity analysis or a related role
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Meticulous attention to detail
Technical proficiency in cybersecurity principles, system administration, and scripting
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of Agile practices and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention principles and tools
DevOps experience
Relevant cybersecurity certifications demonstrating senior-level expertise
