About the Business Development Manager 

We're seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager specializing in the marketing agency business. In this role, you'll lead strategic initiatives to drive business growth, forge partnerships, and expand our client portfolio in the digital marketing services sector. We're looking for someone with a proven track record in business development, a deep understanding of marketing dynamics, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. 

Location: Ireland - Remote

What Will You Do? 
  • Set and achieve sales targets by identifying opportunities, cultivating relationships, and closing deals in the agency business segment. 

  • Utilize a consultative selling approach to understand clients' marketing needs and develop tailored solutions that drive results through digital channels. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative marketing strategies that align with client objectives and enhance brand visibility. 

  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with clients, prospects, and industry stakeholders to expand market presence and drive revenue growth. 

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive sales plans, including prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management, to meet and exceed targets. 

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and client feedback to inform strategic decision-making and optimize sales strategies. 

  • Create and refine pitch decks and presentations to effectively communicate value propositions, solution offerings, and competitive differentiation to clients and prospects. 

  • Develop and customize solutions and proposals that address clients' unique needs and challenges, leveraging expertise in marketing services capabilities. 

  • Provide regular reporting and analysis on sales performance, pipeline status, and key metrics to stakeholders, driving accountability and continuous improvement. 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights, recommendations, and solutions to address their evolving marketing challenges and objectives. 

What Will You Need to Succeed? 
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred 

  • Proven track record of 10-12 years in business development roles, with a focus on marketing services and agency business. 

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, industry dynamics, and client needs in the marketing services and agency sector. 

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders at all levels. 

  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, meet targets, and exceed expectations in a competitive business environment. 

  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business success. 

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. 

  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships and delivering exceptional customer service. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs. 

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.

The pay range for this position is base salary per annum of between €85,000 and €100,000. This pay structure includes an additional variable bonus component of up to 50% of the base salary. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
