Product Designer [Physical Products]

About the role

This is a 100% remote position

As product designer you’ll be part of the Leiturinha Product Team. This area is formed by product managers, designers and content creators, who are responsible for creating all materials sent to our customers and for guaranteeing the best experience to the kids and families.

What you will be doing:

• Research, brainstorm & sketch initial ideas to gather feedback from the team.
• Create or brief the freelancers the item visually and feedback on the designs.
• Create ready to print files, request samples, test and improve them with suppliers and users.
• Work closely with our Operations and Quality teams to guarantee the orders, quality of the materials and on time delivery.
• Understand our portfolio of products to propose improvements and come up with creative establishing connections between our products and initiatives, assets and stock usage.
• Bring new product ideas to our portfolio, as well as connecting it with our brand.

What you´ll need to succeed in this role:

• Proven skills at developing products and the ability to work with the design applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign etc.).
• Printing files knowledge, verifying their accuracy and aligning with the printing companies and studios/freelancers any need.
• Game design skills, creating or adapting meaningful play experiences for the final customer.
• Interest in physical products, children's products and activities.
• Art directing skills.
• Advanced English.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Excellent communication, organization and time management - manage and negotiate multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Willing to collaborate with colleagues and other areas. 
• Eager to create products that really solve problems.
• Adaptability to constantly changing.
• Ability to see outside the box and create an excellent experience for customers.
• Appetite to do market research and bring innovative ideas.
