Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Marketing Manager to take ownership of our marketing strategy and lead its execution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, Shopify, digital marketing (PPC, SEO, and CRO), and team collaboration. This role is crucial for driving growth, improving conversion rates, and increasing lead generation, all while ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management:

  • Lead and execute marketing campaigns across various digital channels, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and email automation tools.
  • Continuously improve conversion rate optimization (CRO) and evaluate marketing performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure marketing goals are met, with an understanding of the Australian market.

Project Management:

  • Manage marketing projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Hire, vet, and oversee contractors or freelancers to drive marketing outcomes.
  • Keep detailed notes, hold team members accountable, and ensure alignment with business objectives while handling multiple projects effectively.

Content & Design:

  • Write clear, human-friendly sales copy and edit content produced by the team.
  • Provide feedback on design work and ensure visual content aligns with our brand.
  • Step in to create designs using tools like Canva or Photoshop when needed.

Ecommerce & Shopify Management:

  • Oversee Shopify management, ensuring product listings are up to date and working with the theme editor.
  • Drive continuous improvements to our online store and measure performance using analytics.

Data-Driven Marketing & CRO:

  • Use Google Analytics and other analytics tools to track marketing performance and inform data-driven decisions.
  • Work with technical products, ensuring accuracy in communication to customers.
  • Contribute to high-level discussions and translate strategies into actionable steps with minimal direction.

Qualifications:

  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inaccuracies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with familiarity in Australian English to capture local nuances.
  • Proficiency with Shopify, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and email automation tools.
  • Experience with CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) and data-driven marketing strategies.
  • A strong sense of design and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
  • Familiarity with SEO and PPC campaign management.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Notion and documenting standard operating procedures.
  • Experience working with technical or complex products.
  • Familiarity with SEO and PPC campaign management.
  • Ideally, experience in the Australian market, understanding local nuances in language and culture.
