Job description

Java Developer with GCP
Offshore (India) - Remote
6+Month Contract

A skilled and experienced professional for the position of API with Google Ops Engineer to lead cloud migration efforts and develop secure microservices applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both development and operations, with a particular focus on security in cloud environments. They should be able to balance technical expertise with effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience in software development and cloud technologies
Strong proficiency in JAVA programming language
Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform services and tools
In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture and API design
Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and common vulnerabilities
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
Experience with monitoring and logging tools in cloud environments
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Work Hours: Candidates must be able to work in the EST time zone.
