Role

This position is for a Summer Intern that will actively participate on a team that is building an Air gapped unclassified Development Network in the Cloud. You will be expected to work with DevOps and Software engineers through the agile framework.

Responsibilities

Write stable, extensible and maintainable code.
Integrate with third-party APIs and internal utilities.
Maintain and add to a suite of automated tests.
Participate in code reviews.
Participate in the project’s agile process.
Willingness to share knowledge as well as receive knowledge

Required Qualifications

Pursuing a BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
Experience with Python, Go, and/or Rust (in the classroom or from another internship)
Understanding of network programming fundamentals, particularly with networking, data structures, and data models
Ability to collaborate on a team, but execute independently
Comfortable in a high-trust, adaptable, team environment
Familiarity with cloud services (Azure preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of kernel network stacks and/or kernel development
Understanding of CMake/Make and embedded build systems
