Requirements

The Role

UniUni is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts across Canada. This role will be pivotal in implementing marketing strategies that enhance our brand presence, increase company exposure, and attract a broader customer base. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Canadian market and have a proven track record of driving successful marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Refine and prioritise our markets to further expand our global presence and maintain our lead by delivering targeted localised online and offline geographic strategies that adheres to our brand strategy and resonates locally in key markets.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, traditional, social media, etc.).
  • Developing and implementing a growth strategy to drive demand and new customer acquisition across traffic channels, with a focus on Mass & Brand activities, Search Marketing, Social Marketing, Outbound Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, and Mobile etc.

Brand Management:

  • Defining market message and delivering supporting tools including but not limited to website, product factsheets, press releases, industry publications and social media
  • Lead growth and development of all marketing channels - email, CRM, paid search, SEO, affiliates, partnerships, advertising, direct mail, promotions, events, social media and display.
  • Strengthen UniUni's brand presence and identity within the Canadian market.

Customer Acquisition and Retention:

  • Leverage consumer insights and trends to identify key issues and opportunities for profitable growth.l Creation of Mass & brand programs to create awareness and drive new customer acquisition efforts.

Campaign Management:

  • Lead the creation, management, and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring they are on time, on budget, and meet performance goals.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.

Partnership and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to utilize digital marketing to achieve line of business revenue goals, as part of the overall line of business marketing plans

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies within the Canadian market.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media, content creation, and brand management.
  • Administration and management—Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and co-ordination of people and resources
  • Communications and media — Knowledge of media production, communications, and dissemination techniques and methods
  • A creative thinker and proven leader with a track record of translating thinking into action plans and output

Benefits

Compensation and Benefits:

The hiring range for this position ranges from CA$120,000 - CA$150,000. Your actual level and salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
