As part of this mission, we are partnering with Mazadak, an innovative auction platform, to enhance our product offerings. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will play a critical role in shaping the development and operational processes within Mazadak, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to streamline our development operations, ensuring that workflows are efficient and scalable. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in DevOps and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
• Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to enhance provisioning and configuration.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of our applications and systems.
• Implement robust security practices across all stages of development.
• Collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases.
• Participate in on-call rotations to handle production issues.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, particularly in cloud infrastructure and service-oriented architecture.

Requirements

What we need from you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Expert knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby) and IaC tools (like Terraform or Ansible).
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Deep understanding of Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience mentoring and leading junior engineers is a plus.
