Regional Directors (RDs) - South East US are responsible for the development and execution of the CareDx strategy in their assigned geography, resulting in the achievement of diagnostic testing volume, revenue growth and other key performance targets.  Focusing primarily on transplant center account customers, RDs will lead, manage and partner with a diverse team of regionally aligned roles including Transplant Account Managers (TAMs).  Successful RDs are proven, collaborative people leaders with account management expertise that possess an enterprise-orientation, able to develop and execute effective business strategy.  The RD roles report directly to the Head of Sales.     


Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Assess market conditions to develop, communicate and execute competitive regional strategies to drive diagnostic testing volume, revenue growth and achievement of key performance targets  
  • Lead a cross-functional regional team, ensuring alignment and prioritization of regional resources appropriately  
  • Coach and manage (directly) the performance and competency development of Transplant Account Managers (TAMs)  
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Commercial Operations, Marketing, etc.) to develop and execute regional plans   
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance updates and status of regional as well as account level objectives to senior leadership  
  • Develop strong customer relationships with key customers within the region 
  • Drive positive change and an environment of collaboration, accountability and empowerment 
  • Recruit, develop and retain talent in the region (e.g., selection, performance management, succession planning, development planning, retention planning, etc.) 
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and team compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies, and procedures 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advance degree (e.g., MBA) preferred 
  • Minimum of 10 years sales or account management experience and 5 years prior sales management experience in the healthcare industry required 
  • Demonstrated, proven track record developing teams, developing people, and building collaborative relationships within the organization and with external customers 
  • Track record of developing appropriate commercial strategies that maximize business outcomes 
  • Written and oral communication & organizational skills 
  • Preference to live within the region (Florida or Texas)  
  • Must be willing to travel 50- 75% or greater, including frequent day trips and overnight travel 
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce.com and analytical tool
