Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Medicaid EVV Technical Analyst to support the implementation and integration of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) solutions within Medicaid systems. The ideal candidate will focus on the technical integration points between the modernized EVV solution and existing Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS). This role requires a strong technical background, experience with system integration, and a deep understanding of EVV and MMIS operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and define technical requirements for the integration of the modernized EVV solution with existing MMIS systems
  • Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration between EVV systems and Medicaid technical environments
  • Develop and document technical specifications and integration points, ensuring that all systems function cohesively
  • Support data mapping, interface design, and system integration efforts to align EVV systems with MMIS frameworks
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to EVV implementation, focusing on data flow, system connectivity, and interoperability between the modernized EVV solution and MMIS
  • Provide technical expertise during Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and system design discussions to ensure that technical integration needs are fully addressed
  • Work closely with project management and development teams to ensure timely delivery of integration milestones and technical deliverables
  • Assist in the development of test cases, participate in system testing, and validate that integration requirements are met
  • Offer ongoing technical support during implementation and post-production phases to ensure smooth operation of integrated systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in technical roles within Medicaid or healthcare IT projects, with a focus on system integration
  • Extensive knowledge of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems and their integration with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS)
  • Hands-on experience with MMIS systems is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of data interfaces, web services, API integrations, and system interoperability
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and integration workflows
  • Experience with SQL, data mapping, and interface design
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to technical detail
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Medicaid federal and state requirements related to EVV systems
  • Familiarity with integration tools and methodologies used within Medicaid programs
  • Experience working with system integrators, third-party vendors, and state agencies
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies is a plus
