Position Summary

TaxAct is seeking to hire a Senior Product Manager, Website is responsible for owning business objectives, involving the complete product life-cycle strategy and high-quality delivery of new products/enhancements. Defines the product roadmap based on customer needs, business objectives and technology trends in support of the overall TaxAct product strategy. Inspires a cross-functional Product Team of designers, engineers and other partners to start with deep customer empathy to rapidly test hypotheses and deliver innovative solutions for customers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Promote a customer-focused environment to deliver innovative products and services.
  • Demonstrated leadership establishing and evangelizing a vision of success as well as the objectives and key results needed for it to be achieved.
  • Lead the ideation, experimentation, and development of customer experiences for TaxAct.
  • Own the product roadmap, prioritizing work, and make appropriate trade-offs.
  • Leverages and analyzes data to uncover insights and product performance.
  • Identifying opportunities by market trends, customer insights and competitive analysis.
  • Strong collaborator who facilitates and leads across teams of UX/UI, engineering, design, marketing, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicates with impact and clarity across all levels of the organization – team, peers, stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Have the ability to partner with legal, compliance and other stakeholders to understand constraints and distill requirements from stakeholders.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years of Product Management work experience in a software company, financial services company, or equivalent experience
  • Successful history of delivering customer-driven products as a Senior Product Manager
  • Demonstrates strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends
  • Detail-oriented with a clear ability to work independently under management/time pressure
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Resourceful, team player, high energy and flexible. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Desire to remain current with the latest technologies and best practices
  • Demonstrated experience with implementing the Design Thinking method
  • Other job duties as defined
