Medical Director Long Island, NY - #6041

If you have a passion to lead others and mentor other veterinarians, this may be the job for you! We are seeing a medical director veterinarian to lead a team in Long Island, NY!

The qualifications for this position include 3+ years of experience in general medicine and surgery, the ability to multi-task, high integrity and accountability, a desire to see others succeed, and of course a passion to provide a superior veterinary experience for patients and staff.

You will have mentorship plans and personalized training. At this practice, knowledge and growth are very important, so each veterinarian on the team goes through dental, ultrasound, and urgent care CE within their first year. Plus, this clinic gives you three days off each week to ensure that you have the time you need for your personal life.

This practice is veterinary-led at every level. They have a high ratio of support staff, great technology, and the autonomy to practice medicine how you see best fit. This is not a place where you will be micro-managed. You will have less distractions since this practice has a remote team of nurses in place to handle client needs. With two 60-minute breaks, youll be able to eat without rushing, catch up on notes so you dont fall behind, and anything else that you need to get done!
