Position Overview

We are seeking a Real Estate Services Manager to join our Transportation Services Division. This role offers a hybrid work model with remote possibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage a diverse client portfolio, primarily with Municipalities and WisDOT.
Oversee real estate needs including acquisition cost estimating, appraisal, negotiation, and acquisition/relocation.
Maintain project budgets and ensure project oversight.
Mentor and lead a team of real estate professionals.

Requirements

Skills and Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Transportation real estate/right-of-way services, including appraisal, negotiation, and acquisition.
WisDOT approved Appraiser, or ability to obtain within one month.
WisDOT approved Negotiator, or ability to obtain within one month.
Notary Public, or ability to obtain.
Familiarity with WisDOT Real Estate Program Manual.
Understanding of real estate laws, eminent domain principles, the Uniform Act, and NEPA.
Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
