Position Overview

We are seeking a Real Estate Services Manager to join our Transportation Services Division. This role offers a hybrid work model with remote possibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a diverse client portfolio, primarily with Municipalities and WisDOT.
  • Oversee real estate needs including acquisition cost estimating, appraisal, negotiation, and acquisition/relocation.
  • Maintain project budgets and ensure project oversight.
  • Mentor and lead a team of real estate professionals.

Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Transportation real estate/right-of-way services, including appraisal, negotiation, and acquisition.
  • WisDOT approved Appraiser, or ability to obtain within one month.
  • WisDOT approved Negotiator, or ability to obtain within one month.
  • Notary Public, or ability to obtain.
  • Familiarity with WisDOT Real Estate Program Manual.
  • Understanding of real estate laws, eminent domain principles, the Uniform Act, and NEPA.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
