Senior Commercial Property & Casualty Underwriter

Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Commercial Property & Casualty Underwriter. In this role, you will be responsible for underwriting new business, managing a book of business, and building strong relationships with agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite new business, both in-house and through brokerage markets.
• Assess risk, determine coverage, and pricing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agents.
• Adhere to underwriting guidelines and company policies.
• Contribute to the overall success of the underwriting team.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• E&S underwriting experience required.
• Insurance license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in underwriting software and systems.
