The Opportunity

As we enhance our ability to provide human-centered, tech-forward care, we seek a talented Sr. Manager of Medical Economics to join our Medicare Population Health Programs (MPHP) team. In this role, you will lead our Value-based Care data, analytics, and evaluation strategy, collaborating closely with analytics, data engineering, and financial actuarial teams.

Your key responsibilities will include enhancing clinical outcomes, managing costs, and improving financial performance for our Medicare Advantage and ACO Reach business. Your expertise in healthcare data analysis will shape clinical and operational workflows, ensuring continuous improvement of high-impact programs.

What You'll Do

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation:
    • Apply advanced analytical techniques to healthcare data, including claims and clinical data.
    • Identify trends to enhance patient outcomes and care quality.
    • Develop predictive models for healthcare utilization and population health risks.
  • Value-Based Care Data Strategy:
    • Manage analytics needs across various areas and collaborate on a development roadmap.
    • Identify tools and analytic methods for insights from raw data.
    • Support program operations and management with MPHP program leaders.
    • Collaborate with external data vendors to improve data availability.
  • Program Analysis and Reporting:
    • Conduct financial analyses on value-based care initiatives.
    • Create reports to share findings with stakeholders, including leadership and clinical teams.
  • Risk Adjustment and Actuarial Support:
    • Support risk adjustment methodologies with actuarial teams.
    • Monitor actuarial data to ensure alignment with health goals.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
    • Stay updated on trends in healthcare analytics.
    • Identify process improvement and innovation opportunities.
    • Engage in industry activities to promote a culture of learning.
What You'll Need

  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare analytics or population health management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
  • Knowledge of value-based care models and healthcare reimbursement.
  • Experience with actuarial teams and risk adjustment methods.
  • Strong communication skills for actionable data insights.
  • Proven ability to drive results in a matrixed organization.
  • Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, or related field preferred.

This is a full-time, remote role available anywhere in the US. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation, with a base salary ranging from \(123,000 to \)219,000 per year, along with potential sign-on bonuses and equity grants. For further details, please visit our careers page.
