Your missions

Talascend is currently seeking a Plant Integration Engineer for a long-term, remote, contract career opportunity.

OVERVIEW:

The Plant Integration Engineer will support the integration, oversight, and coordination of Energy Island steam, power, and auxiliary systems. This role involves close collaboration with geographically diverse teams to ensure the successful integration of power cycle and auxiliary systems.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides integration and oversight to geographically diverse team members to develop Energy Island system deliverables.
Supports development of steam, power, and auxiliary system components in the plant 3D model for systems under oversight responsibility.
Works closely with partners or Architect/Engineer firms to establish and control interfaces for systems and structures.
Supports interface with other plant design departments, including 3D model development and integrated plant analysis.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 10 years of relevant design experience in nuclear or commercial power plant design, focusing on systems and equipment for power generation.
Strong leadership skills with experience driving cross-functional design collaboration and system integration.
Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively with geographically distributed and international teams.
Broad-based technical and engineering skills, capable of leading an integrated cross-functional design team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey critical design information to senior management, engineering teams, and customers.
Experience working in a conceptual design and first-of-a-kind environment, using sound engineering judgment to meet key project objectives.
Familiarity with quality standards such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001.
Actual position starting level and title will be determined based on assessment of qualifications.
