Cyber Security Documentation Writer/Analyst

Remote

£300 per day PAYE/Umbrella

Contract for 6 months

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Documentation Writer/Analyst to join our client’s remote team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in cyber security standards to make a real impact on the documentation and compliance processes of a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive cyber security documentation, policies, and procedures in line with NIST and ISO 27001 standards.
Collaborate with security teams to translate technical requirements into clear, concise, and accessible documentation.
Conduct gap analyses to ensure compliance with security frameworks and standards.
Update existing documentation to reflect changes in security policies and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the preparation of audit and certification processes by providing necessary documentation support.

Essential Skills And Experience

Proven experience in cyber security documentation writing, with a focus on NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks.
Strong understanding of cyber security concepts, standards, and best practices.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely, managing tasks and deadlines independently.
High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
