What You'll Do

• Lead Innovative Projects: Leverage your expertise in transmission planning and analyze power systems for energy sector clients, including power producers and transmission providers.
• Drive Solutions: Develop and integrate solutions for renewables, storage, and advanced technologies to ensure reliable and safe electrical grid operations.
• Analyze and Report: Conduct detailed simulations of electrical transmission systems and prepare comprehensive reports with insights, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Collaborate and Deliver: Work within small project teams ensuring high-quality deliverables, managing budgets, and meeting project timelines.
• Enhance Efficiency: Create automation scripts to streamline and improve the accuracy of simulations and analyses.
• Support and Train: Provide onsite technical consulting and training services and assist in preparing proposals with project plans and budgets.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering focusing on Power and Energy Systems.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the electric power industry, with hands-on knowledge of transmission system planning or operations and experience using tools like PSSE, TARA, or TSAT.
• Travel: Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically.
• Preferred Skills: Experience in power system consulting or transmission system planning or operations, familiarity with MISO or SPP footprints, and a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
