About The Role
In this position, you will report to the Associate Vice President of College and Community Relations, Marketing, and Communications. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations of the marketing department and the execution of internal and external advertising campaigns across various media.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic enrollment plan in collaboration with campus leaders.
- Partner with Admissions, Outreach, and Institutional Research teams to meet enrollment targets.
- Develop and manage budget projections while monitoring expenditures.
- Supervise and mentor staff in marketing, content creation, and design.
- Provide performance metrics and feedback to team members to foster growth.
- Promote adherence to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity policies.
Skills And Qualifications
- Strong understanding of marketing and recruitment strategies in higher education.
- Knowledge of California Community College policies, Title V regulations, and FERPA guidelines.
- Proficiency in CRM and design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media trends.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive issues and resolve conflicts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated understanding and respect for the diverse backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff.
Working Conditions
Environment: Standard office environment with regular use of a computer and telephone. May involve occasional lifting of objects up to 20 lbs.
Physical Abilities: Ability to communicate clearly, with adequate vision to read materials and dexterity to operate a computer keyboard.
